Bayport Aerodrome Society Mission

The mission of the Bayport Aerodrome Society is to maintain Bayport Aerodrome as a turf runway public airport in the spirit of early aviation. We operate a living museum so that we can:

  • Preserve, display, and fly antique, classic, and experimental aircraft
  • Preserve and present aviation history
  • Display early aviation artifacts and memorabilia
  • Conduct aviation educational programs
  • Engage in other activities designed to enhance the preservation of the Aerodrome

Our membership is composed of aviation professionals, recreational pilots, and people interested in preserving aviation history and the history of the Bayport Aerodrome.
